About Us
Founded in 2017, Waters Building + Design was built on a simple foundation: do the work the right way; with integrity, craftsmanship, and purpose. Rooted in family values and guided by faith, we are proud to serve homeowners and businesses throughout Savannah and Southeast Georgia. With more than 50 years of combined experience, our team brings deep expertise in custom home building, historic preservation, luxury renovations, and commercial construction. Whether restoring a centuries-old property or building a home from the ground up, we approach every project with the same commitment to quality and detail.
A Passion for Preservation
Savannah is known for its rich architectural history, and we are honored to play a role in preserving it. Since our founding, we have completed over 15 historic home renovations in Downtown Savannah, carefully blending modern functionality with timeless design. Our work has been recognized with two Preservation Awards from the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and a Preservation Award from the Historic Savannah Foundation. These honors reflect our dedication to protecting the character and legacy of Savannah’s historic homes.
Our Team
Josh Waters
Owner/CEO
Josh, Owner and CEO of Waters Building & Design, developed an early passion for construction through summer work with a local contractor. He earned degrees in Construction Management and Business Management from Georgia Southern University before starting his career as a Project Manager in the Savannah market, gaining experience in residential and commercial projects. In 2017, he founded Waters Building & Design with the support of his wife, Brandi, focusing on new construction, renovations, and historic preservation. Josh is a graduate of Leadership Bulloch Class of 2017 and an active leader in the building community. He served as President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Savannah in 2024, reflecting his commitment to quality craftsmanship and industry leadership.
Billy Anderson
Director of Construction
Billy graduated from Georgia Southern University with degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration. He began his construction career as a Field Engineer in civil and marine construction, advancing to Project Manager overseeing large-scale commercial projects. Billy has managed a wide range of projects, including bridges, schools, churches, government facilities, multi-story condominiums, hospitality, and historic renovations. Prior to working in construction, Billy spent a decade in law enforcement. He served with the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Department of Corrections. Outside of work, Billy enjoys spending time with his family and being on the water as much as possible. He has a deep appreciation for history, architecture, and the outdoors.
Sheena Anderson
Office Administrator
With over a decade of experience in accounting, Sheena plays an essential role in supporting financial and administrative operations within the construction industry. She specializes in streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring accuracy across daily workflows. Known for her reliable behind-the-scenes support, Sheena takes pride in creating systems that keep operations running smoothly and effectively. Her attention to detail and organizational skills contribute greatly to overall team success. Outside of work, she enjoys creative projects like DIY crafts and home organization, and values spending quality time with her family, helping her maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
Collin Middleton
Project Manager
Collin began his career in residential construction in 2022 after earning a degree in Construction Management from Georgia Southern University. He gained early experience in production building, where he developed strong skills in schedule management and trade coordination. As a member of the Waters Building & Design team, Collin is dedicated to making the building process simple and seamless for clients while upholding the company’s high standards of craftsmanship and client care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hunting, and cheering on Georgia Southern football with family and friends.
Caden Hudak
Project Manager
With six years of experience in residential construction, Caden specializes in luxury homes and high-end renovations. He holds a degree in Construction Management and began his career in the field before advancing into project management, where he built strong skills in scheduling, trade coordination, and client relations. As a member of the Waters Building & Design team, he is committed to delivering a seamless building experience while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Outside of work, Caden enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and hunting with his bird dog, Gunner, and values time with family and friends.
